Inktel Contact Center Solutions Launches Employee Wellness Initiative

DORAL, Fla. - Jan. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Inktel Contact Solutions has unveiled a new company-wide employee wellness initiative. Having been named one of “South Florida’s Healthiest Employers” by the South Florida Business Journal and a “Gold Level Fit-Friendly Worksite” by the American Heart Association, Inktel launches “InkWell” to formalize and strengthen a long-standing commitment to wellness.

“We want to make healthy living a part of our DNA.” said Inktel CEO Ricky Arriola. “We’ve always participated in community races, we opened up an Inktel Café with nutritious options, we have filled our vending machines with healthy snacks, we’ve had internal weight loss and athletic competitions, and have been recognized for our efforts. But we wanted everyone in the company to know just how important wellness is, not only to us as an organization, but to each of us as individuals.”

The program takes a holistic approach to health, by focusing on physical, nutritional/chemical, and mental wellness. The “Wellness Committee” consisting of Doreen Fernandez, Albert Llodrá, Gloria Vazquez, and Justin Harsch, is filling 2014′s schedule with guest speakers, inter-office competition, health education classes, sporting events and more. Each of Inktel’s South Florida locations feature an InkWell “Champion” who serve as the leaders and rabble-rousers for the cause. Strada Joseph, Ashley Ferro, and John Fernandez, along with a team of appointed “All-Stars” are tasked with raising awareness, encouraging participation and fostering an atmosphere of health.
