In the list, Becker’s quotes Dr. Won as saying: “Today, the key to being a leader in spine doesn't just take knowing the art of medicine. One has to understand the state of health care reform in this country. Physicians typically react to changes forced upon us rather than being proactive to make the changes. Physicians are the infantry in the health care industry, and we need to be more engaged in shaping the reform.”
A premier health care publication based in Chicago, Becker's Spine Review focuses on news, business and legal issues affecting spine surgeons and their practices. It publishes a number of lists throughout the year to recognize outstanding facilities and individuals.
“Becker’s Spine Review is a highly-respected, well-known publication, and I’m honored to be included,” says Dr. Won.
With more than 15 years of experience in medicine and more than a decade specializing in back health, Dr. Won is skilled in helping people manage back pain. Approximately 95% of Dr. Won’s patients are treated non-surgically, but when surgery is necessary, Dr. Won employs the most non-invasive methods possible.
