- Jan. 11, 2014 - PORT ANGELES, Wash. --
The Port Angeles, WA based Aesop Games has opened beta testing access for the innovative new webgame, Brunelleschi:
Age of Architecs. The game is accessible through any browser, and entirely free to play. As the newest entry to the Strategy/RPG webgame hybrid field, Brunelleschi features never before seen game mechanics and social interaction system sure to surprise even the most jaded gamers. Building settlements in the 'Mythic Renaissance', players are invited to experience the game as mighty Heroes or power hungry Lords, and each game account is allowed both of these character types. Unprecedented levels of control and co-operation make citybuilding in Brunelleschi unlike any other game. Players can team up with their friends to build a huge Metropolis, with access to Political, Diplomatic, and Military gameplay mechanics that rely on co-ordination and communication between players on a totally new scale.
Brunelleschi was built from the ground up by only 2 dedicated developers, and in spite of a shoestring budget the game boasts more content than any existing web-strategy game, as well as the deepest military and economic models currently available to the entire genre. The game has been built with no external funding or financing, and stands as a profound demonstration of Aesop Games' commitment to Bootstrapping.
The game is now live and available at BruneGame.com, and Aesop Games intends to release a Google Play compatible app by January 31st, 2014.
