With a panel discussion on post-prostate surgery recovery with three Eisenhower Physicians and a keynote presentation on testosterone and hormone replacement therapy, the event aims to help Coachella Valley men, and their partners, learn about key issues and advances in men’s health. It also gives attendees the opportunity to meet some of the medical experts serving the Valley. Registrants are encouraged to bring friends and family.
“Getting Back in the Game,” the panel discussion on post –prostate surgery recovery, will be held by Eisenhower Medical Center physiciansInternist John Stansell, MD, Urologist John Faulkner, MD and Radiation Oncologist Robert Johnson, MD. “Leveling the Playing Field – Testosterone and Hormone Replacement Therapy” is the keynote presentation from guest speaker, Endocrinologist Shalender Bhasin, MD. Beginning at 11:30am, participants will have the opportunity to meet the physicians and ask questions.
Dr. Bhasin, is an internationally recognized Endocrinologist with expertise in anabolic therapies, androgenic hormone biology, and clinical trials of testosterone. He is a Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Bhasin obtained his medical education at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He received his residency training at Northwestern University Medical School and fellowship training in Endocrinology and Nutrition at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.
