PRLog - Jan. 9, 2014 - (Fort Myers, FL)-- WSN, the leading online news magazine devoted to women's sports, has announced it will hold a Google Hangout with softball players from Team Canada and Team USA ahead of the International Olympic Committee presentation to re-submit softball into competition at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

The hangout will be held on Tuesday, January 14th at 9PM ET, at http://www.wsnw47.com/
WSN Athlete and USA Softball player, Taylor Hoagland, will moderate the hangout. Joining her will be her USA Softball teammates, Amanda Chidester and Rhea Taylor, as well as Canada Women's National Team players Larissa Franklin, Jenny Gilbert and Caitlin Lever.
The Google hangout will allow fans to watch the athletes interview each other live and join in the conversation by posting their questions in advance via the hangout page (http://www.wsnw47.com/
Softball had been an Olympic sport from 1996 through 2008, but along with baseball was voted off the program in 2005, with softball losing its place by one vote. The two sports followed advice from some IOC members to submit a joint bid for the 2016 Olympics, but that effort failed.
