Dr. John Shim is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon who is currently Chief of Orthopedics at the Morton Plant Mease Hospital, Dunedin and Countryside. Dr. Ragab is a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon who prior to practicing in Tampa Bay was on faculty in the department of surgery at the University of Mississippi.

They both specialize in minimally invasive spine surgery as well as performing complex reconstructive spinal surgery to treat the specific injury. They are currently active members of The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society as well as Fellows of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Robert Dean is an active member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and has practiced medicine in Palm Harbor, Florida for over 15 years. He has supplemented his Internal Medicine training with clinical experience in interventional spine and musculoskeletal procedures. This allows him to better determine an effective treatment plan and to order the tests and procedures most useful in a patient’s care. By listening to and putting into “plain words” confusing medical jargon, Dr. Dean educates patients regarding their injuries as well as their different treatment options.
