Oak Harbor, the largest town on Whidbey Island, is chronicled in this new book from the time when it was first inhabited by a large population of natives through modern day where it has became a bustling town, largely due to the creation of a naval air station during WWII.  Using well-known historical photos as well as many never before published images, the book shows scenes of when early pioneer town builders and the arrival of the Dutch to Whidbey Island in 1894.
