New Year Brings New Members & Renewed Commitment to Live Training for Advisors’ Academy

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Jan. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- The calendar may have turned but Advisors’ Academy is staying straight on course.  For veteran members of the prestigious training and marketing academy for high-earning financial advisors, that means the continued rollout in 2014 of new tools and strategies for phenomenal business growth.  For new members, it means all that plus an introduction to the organization’s existing industry-best coaching and lead-generation resources – starting with the first Training Academy of the new year, which takes place here Jan. 16-18th.

Held four times a year and hosted by company founder David Scranton, Training Academies cover a wide variety of topics but focus primarily on Scranton’s strategic sales process.  While these workshops serve as great refresher courses for veteran members and allow them to address specific challenges, Scranton said they are especially beneficial to new members.

“We strongly encourage new members to attend the first Training Academy they can.” Scranton said.  “It really speeds up the timeframe in which they’re able to absorb and implement the sales process and start using it to increase their closing ratios.  It’s also a great opportunity for them to learn from some of our veteran advisors, who’ve mastered the sales process and use it in conjunction with our marketing systems to hit increasingly higher levels of production year after year.”

Scranton’s focus on personalized coaching and hands-on training is one of the main points of distinction for Advisors’ Academy compared to other, more conventional field marketing organizations.  In addition to the Training Academies, Scranton hosts several Advanced Study Groups each year for the company’s top producers, and an annual five-day training and teambuilding event open to all advisors that is among the most ambitious and innovative program of its kind in the industry.

Founded in 2007, Advisors’ Academy launched a strategic growth initiative in late 2012 designed to better serve the needs of its rapidly increasing ranks of member advisors, and to welcome new advisors into the fold. In just over a year, the Academy has increased membership by 40%; increased its staff of coaches, recruiters and marketing professionals by almost 50%; vastly expanded its in-house marketing services; and opened a new Fort Lauderdale office.

As the company continues to grow in 2014, Scranton said he will remain committed to being an accessible mentor and to leading all of the organization’s unique and invaluable live training events; all of this while personally utilizing the company’s tools and systems in his own $30-million-a-year advisory practice in Connecticut.
