ISHM Announces that Tom Slavin will contribute to NIOSH Science Blog

YUMA, Ariz. - Jan. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- ISHM board member Tom Slavin, together with three NIOSH scientists contributes to a new NIOSH science blog on ergonomics.  Tom is a member of the NIOSH National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) manufacturing sector team.  The blog identifies several useful ergonomics resources including web sites with helpful case studies.  Readers are invited to ask questions and add other useful sources for information on musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) prevention.

According to Larry Curtis, executive Director of ISHM, “People need access to information quickly and effectively. The NIOSH science blog is a great way to make information available so professionals can find information and solutions to ergonomic issues.” This valuable resource will continue to enhance the EHS and IH communities by providing topical information on a significant worker issue.
