MiCTA Seeks Proposals For Video Integration Services

SAGINAW, Mich. - Jan. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- MiCTA, a national non-profit technology consortium, and Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana have issued a Request For Proposals from qualified vendors of video integration services. Vendors that wish to receive a copy of the RFP should contact MiCTA to request one immediately. The deadline to respond is February 28, 2014.

"Our members have a broad range of video integration needs," says Tim von Hoff, Chief Operating Officer of MiCTA. "Education members want to build and upgrade smart classrooms, provide on-campus signage and advertising, enhance the capabilities of their existing on-campus video networks and create innovative two-way communications suites," says von Hoff." In addition, government and healthcare members also have specific needs for customized video solutions.

"Over time, our members have seen the value in having video-enhanced smart classrooms," says von Hoff. "In addition to upgrading first-generation smart classrooms, our members are looking for ways to incorporate advanced video technologies into their classrooms, and support growth in their distance education programs."

von Hoff also says that MiCTA's healthcare members are also looking at the role that high-quality video services can play in the delivery of advanced health care services. "Customized healthcare, governmental services and even criminal justice functions can be delivered via competent video networks."
