Anti Valentine's Day Party in East London to Raise Money for Charity

LONDON - Jan. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- London lifestyle blog, Thirty Something London and East London bar, Apples and Pears are hosting an Anti Valentine's Day party to as alternative to the traditional events to raise money for local charity, SANE.

Everyone is so sick of the whole chocolates, roses, set menus and heart shape balloons they see every Valentine's Day, so we thought we'd flip it on its head and have something fun. The party is not a singles party and is open to anybody who just wants an alternative.

The theme is "kids birthday with an adult twist" where there will be traditional kids games such pass the parcel, Twister, pin the tail on the donkey and a pinada but to name a few. All the games will have a slight adult twist. In addition to games, there will be plenty of giveaways, cake, goodie bags promoting local businesses dj's, cheap cocktails and much more.

The event will be held on Friday 14/02/14 at Apples and Pears bar on Brick Lane from 19.00 till late. Tickets are just £3 with £1 from every ticket going to the amazing people at local East London charity, SANE who work with those suffering from mental illness.
