Florida Hospital Helps the Eagle Flight 5k Soar Again

ORLANDO, Fla. - Jan. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- On Your Mark, Get Set…

The Eagle Flight 5k is back and better than ever. On Saturday, February 22nd schools, clubs, and sports throughout College Park will join Edgewater High School to participate in a FUNdraiser that benefits the entire community. The Edgewater High School PTSA with event sponsor, Florida Hospital, are calling all runners, walkers, businesses and friends of the College Park community to help support the 2014 Eagle Flight 5k.

“This fundraiser was designed to help the Edgewater community and in doing so we are giving back to other groups through their participation,” says 2014 Eagle Flight Chairperson, Karen Baker. “Schools, clubs and sports teams that participate will receive 50% of the registration fees and sponsorships that are designated to their specific group.” Participating groups will also have the opportunity to raise funds with two Eagle Awards that will provide $250 to the group that raises the largest total amount and $250 to the group that registers the most entrants. This year there will also be a special, “Share Your Flare” competition that will highlight the individuality of each group participating.

With several sponsorship levels to choose from, the Eagle Flight 5k is a great way for local businesses to gain exposure while supporting a great event and cause. Race sponsorship forms are available at Edgewater High School or online at www.ehs.ocps.net. For additional information please email karenbaker@cfl.rr.com or call (407) 299-0144.  All sponsorships that include print materials (banners/t-shirts) must be received by January 24, 2014.
