PRLog - Jan. 6, 2014 - MOORPARK, Calif. -- ‘Tis the season for marriage proposals.  Businesses affiliated with the wedding industry have long known that the holidays trigger a rise in engagements, specifically on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.  Proposals lead to an immediate increase in calls to wedding venues such as Rancho de Las Palmas as brides-to-be anxiously begin planning their big event.

The new year marks the start of the wedding planning rush.  The race to secure a date at the most ideal venue is on top of most planning checklists.  To best serve Southern California brides-to-be, Moorpark-based Rancho de Las Palmas will host an open house for couples who have already reserved a date and those who register with them at the Bridal Premiere bridal show at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza on Sunday, January 12, 2014.  Representatives will be available to answer questions about this beautiful outdoor venue at booths 71 & 72 from 11:00AM – 3:00PM.

The open house will take place at Rancho de Las Palmas on Sunday, January 19, from 4:00 – 7:00PM, so couples can view the transition from day to night as the lights turn on throughout the property.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet our favorite vendors including florists, caterer and DJ while enjoying appetizers and champagne. The reception area will be decorated to showcase table options and atmosphere.

January also seems to serve as a trigger to couples that have been engaged prior to the holiday rush.  “We get bombarded with calls within the first weeks of January,” says Laura Schneider, Event Coordinator, of Rancho de Las Palmas.  “By offering the open house, we hope to show our beautiful venue to as many couples as possible during this busy time, to help them secure their ideal wedding date, so they can get on with the rest of the event planning.”

Couples interested in attending the open house on January 19 should visit them at the bridal show on January 12 or call them at 805-529-6699 or register online at http://www.kazuagency.com/wedding/.
