The new outlet store not only attracts bargain shoppers, but also those seeking great comfort and true Italian style. Italian Shoemakers has prided itself on personally designing and hand-crafting their own collections of ladies shoes, all 100% Made in Italy, and offering these designs to their customers at affordable prices for over 30 years.
The Doral outlet store is the first of five retail locations Italian Shoemakers is planning to open by the end of Q1 2014. Pembroke Lakes Mall, Treasure Coast Square in Jensen Beach, Coastland Center in Naples and Paddock Mall in Ocala are next in line. Plans for additional store openings during 2014 are currently in the works with locations expected to be announced during the second half the year. Exact store opening dates to be announced via the Company's social media outlets – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Why is Italian Shoemakers so successful? One word seems to sum it up: loyalty. “Our product sells for three reasons, #1) price , #2) comfort and #3) they are 100% Made in Italy. The order of those reasons are personal to each individual and as such may be interchanged, but each reason is what instills loyalty in our customers for our brands. Plain and simple,“ states Gennaro Carnevale, General Manager of Operations.
While comfort and value are emphasized, in true Italian tradition, style is never compromised. The company's founders “believe creativity is to footwear what fuel is to an engine — it is what motivates and drives.” The designers behind Italian Shoemakers travel the world and speak with customers to learn about what is important to them, what truly entices them to purchase a pair of shoes. This ongoing conversation with the world's shoe lovers motivates Italian Shoemakers to constantly exceed expectations and deliver their brand of "Made in Italy" — hand-craftsmanship, fine materials, rich artistry and first-class style at affordable prices.

About Italian Shoemakers
Italian Shoemakers was established in 1982 to take advantage of the creativity and resources in Tuscany, a region rich in footwear heritage. From the beginning, the company's commitment has always been to design, manufacture and distribute fine Italian footwear, with an emphasis on value.
Unlike many footwear companies, Italian Shoemakers controls every aspect of their shoes — from design to distribution. This innovative production plan has fostered their continuous growth for over 30 years and is reflected in their expanding family of lines, which includes Luisa D'Orio, Tirrenia, Damiani's, Contesa and Toscanella.
Today, Italian Shoemakers is one of the largest exporters of footwear from Italy to the United States, Central and South America, Canada, the Caribbean, Asia and South Africa.
