Gospel artist Jethro Abe Mantle launches Kickstarter campaign for Good News for the Soul

Jan. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Singer-songwriter, pianist, and gospel rocker Jethro “Abe” Mantle announced today that he has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a new CD of original gospel music. Good News for the Soul is a collection of songs written over the last 3 years. Abe has been playing these songs for live audiences, crafting a message of hope, peace, faith, joy, and love. Abe is often accompanied by his wife, Jolene, or with his band, The Rising.

Abe is a small business owner, is active in community projects, and is the founder of the Oakland Gospel Music Festival, in Oakland, Oregon. He and his wife minister through music in churches and events in the Pacific Northwest. When asked what his hopes are for this album, Abe replied, “I feel that we have been given a mission to spread the good news with an attitude of joy! I love playing these songs, I love playing my piano, I love singing with my wife… I just love everything about the ministry we have been given! I hope that new doors are opened with the completion of this CD.”
