Woodbury University Office of Admissions To Offer Financial Aid Workshop on Jan. 18

Everything You Wanted to Know About FAFSA (No Need to Be Afraid to Ask)

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- If there’s one subject more stressful to students (and parents) than how to get into college, it’s how to pay for it once you’ve been accepted.

On Jan. 18, Woodbury University (www.woodbury.edu) will seek to temper that anxiety with actionable information, in a financial aid workshop open to the community.

All high school students, transfer students and DREAM Act students are welcome to attend and bring their parents.   English, Spanish and Armenian-speaking admissions and financial aid professionals will be available to answer questions regarding applying to -- and paying for -- college.  The event is free; prospective attendees are requested to RSVP to ensure that sufficient breakfast, lunch and seats are available for everyone.   (http://www.wuworkshop.eventbrite.com or  https://www.facebook.com/events/1418042125095461/).
