According to odds comparison website easyodds.com, 18 year-old Diversity dancer Perry Kiely is the stand-out favourite to win the diving competition.
Editor of easyodds.com, Simon Hopper said: “The bookies have made Perri an 11/10 favourite and we have seen plenty of money from punters for him – but it means there are some huge odds available elsewhere in the market.”
The market is indeed full of big price alternatives to Perri, starting with rugby star Austin Healy (9/1) who could well prove that sportsmen are worth backing in this show – Eddie the Eagle won last time out. Also on 9/1 in the betting market are TV presenter Anna Williamson and TOWIE star Dan Osborne.
One fifth of The Saturdays, Una Foden is an interesting choice… some bookies have her at 8/1 and others a best price (12/1) – the petite Irish songstress actually broke a toe in training but is expected to still compete. Can her courage impress enough to take her to glory?
Behind her are Michaela Strachan (16/1), Pollyanna Woodward (18/1) and Boyzone hunk Keith Duffy (16/1). Elsewhere in the betting market are reality TV stalwarts Jenny Éclair, Paul Ross and Ricky Groves who all sit at the back of the movers and shakers at the huge price of 66/1.
Not only do easyodds.com have odds for the outright winner, but they also feature markets for each heat – to qualify and to win. Who is your money on?
Don’t miss the first heat of Tom Daley’s Splash!, Saturday 19:20, ITV1.
