About SecularityUSA

SecularityUSA is a specific, practical plan to return America to a secular government. This strategic approach to church-state separation gives the freethought movement a way to create real and lasting impact on America’s future. SecularityUSA will build an unprecedented political operation – teaming both nonreligious and religious people who support church-state separation – to promote a just, fair-minded, and positive government process. SecularityUSA has already garnered the support of notable freethinkers and atheists, including Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett and Adam Savage, as well as national organizations, including Americans United for Separation of Church and State. The project is quickly attracting a network of dedicated volunteers from across the country who advocate for church-state separation. SecularityUSA is designed to protect secular governance both nationally and locally, substantially diminishing the power of those who want to impose a religious bias in government. The project will be instrumental in springboarding secularism to prominence and credibility in 2016.  SecularityUSA also includes a long-term strategy that will provide a foundation for sustaining major growth in the freethought movement for years to come. SecularityUSA is a project of Global Secular and Organizing Strategy, a nonprofit corporation with 501(c)3 status pending, The project’s web site is www.SecularityUSA.org.
