Ifbyphone Expands Leadership Team with Addition of Former AT&T Senior Executive Steven Dimmitt

 
CHICAGO - Jan. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Ifbyphone, the leader in voice-based marketing automation (http://public.ifbyphone.com/), today announced a key addition to its executive team with the hire of Steven Dimmitt as Vice President of Customer Experience. Dimmitt comes to his new role with over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, telecommunications and customer experience. Prior to joining Ifbyphone, Dimmitt was Chief Revenue Officer of Giftcards.com, where he was responsible for sales growth across all channels and markets. Prior to Giftcards.com, Dimmitt held multiple executive positions at AT&T where he was responsible for leading teams of more than 4,000 sales and service professionals. His background also includes senior leadership positions at Northern Telecom and SBC.

In his new role at Ifbyphone, Dimmitt will be responsible for all facets of the company’s customer experience including customer service, pre and post sales support, new customer onboarding, and account churn.

Dimmitt began his career as a software developer for Northern Telecom in 1982, moving up the ranks to a director position in 1988. His first position at SBC was as executive director of technology strategies. He continued his journey at SBC with promotions to executive positions in media, video and marketing. In 2006 he was the Senior Vice President of AT&T Consumer Markets. His last position at AT&T was Senior Vice President of AT&T Advertising Solutions from 2008 to 2010. After leaving AT&T Dimmitt was the Chief Revenue Officer at GiftCards.com.
