Kansas City Business Journal Names Grantham a Top Area University

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jan. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Each year, the Kansas City Business Journal compiles its list of the Top Area Colleges and Universities (http://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/slideshow/2013/12/06/top-of-the-list-colleges-universities.html). This is the second year that Grantham University was named as the third largest college in the Kansas City area based on fall enrollments.

“We are constantly trying to do right by our students, and the fact that we were named the third largest college or university in Kansas City shows that,” said Joseph McGrath, Grantham University’s president.

To compile this year’s list, institutions were asked to fill out a survey answering specific questions, one of which was if they were expecting to increase its staff size in the foreseeable future. Grantham University was one of the few that answered this question with a “yes,” due to its projected increase in student population.
