This year’s Grand Prize Winner is Chicago author, Kurt Schuett, for his wildly imaginative apocalyptic thriller, Insurgency. OCD afflicted Alan, a Generation-X do-gooder turned serial killer, is the only thing standing between the President and his assassination at the G20 Summit. Insurgency is Kurt Schuett’s debut novel, a speculative work of fiction that encompasses elements of urban suspense, thriller, and horror. Insurgency is scheduled for releasein the summer of 2014.
