The app operates via your phones GPS and Accelerometer to pick up your exact location and orientation. Once you point your phone a photo of the restaurant that you are standing in front of will appear and consumers only need to simply tap a button in order to see that restaurant’s current deals and offerings. No cameras, no maps, just point for instant access.  If the photo appearing is not the location you desire then simply move left or right until your restaurant appears. If a restaurant is not a participating location SimpleDeal will show you current deals in your surrounding location. The app also enables users to have access to items such as the restaurants wait time, what time it closes, view menu items right from your phone, and bonuses where from time to time, with ongoing use your meal for the evening may even be on SimpleDeal .

Participating restaurants do have a fee of $39.00 per month to list with the app, however can load in as many deals or offerings as they would like for their customers, and have the ability to change deals out daily.  Unlike market competitors such as Groupon, SimpleDeal does not hit restaurant profit margins by taking a large chunk of sales or force restaurants to discount their food and services. If a restaurant would like to feature a product, such as a special monthly milkshake, they are able to do so with a self-customized message telling the patron to come in and try it.  It also eliminates the fear of affordability for customers when browsing on sites such as Yelp and looking at three to four dollar signs by telling you exactly how much it would cost for two people to eat there.
