The social media ‘make over’ is part of a larger strategy by the restaurant brand to engage its college-age customer base at the flagship store located at 1927 Cumberland Avenue, Knoxville, TN, just one block away from the University of Tennesee at Knoxville.
“We are really excited about our social media campaign for 2014,” said Rob Wynkoop, Gyrene Burger Franchisee. “Our customers live very digital lives, so we believe having a stronger digital presence will make it easier for our customers to find us and place online orders.”
In addition to new graphics and updated information, the Facebook page includes interactive testimonials from actual customers. The restaurant is currently rated at 4.5 out of 5 stars and franchisee Wynkoop explains that’s no accident.
“We strive for a 5-star customer experience every time we send a burger out. We intend to become part of the UT Campus fabric and the only way we can do that is by surpassing our competition in both quality and service.”
