Intergenerational China Tours on Sale

The 17-day luxury tour visiting Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Chengdu and Shanghai departs on June 26 and July 03. Spaces are limited to 18 per group.

Dec. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Laurus Travel, a Vancouver based China tour company, has come up with a new itinerary specially designed for grandparents and grandchildren (ages 8-11) travelling together. In addition to all the must-sees in each city, the itinerary includes many kids-oriented activities, such as kite flying and lessons on Chinese language, calligraphy and watercolor painting sessions. The China tour operator, which also has an office in Beijing, hopes the early in-depth exposure to Chinese life and the hands-on sessions during the trip will help instill in the children a love of Chinese culture, which in turn may lead to more opportunities for them in the future.

The itinerary has special features that will appeal to both grandparents and the children. Among them are hiking on the Great Wall, travel by bullet train between Beijing and Xian and a day at the Giant Panda Research Centre in Chengdu.

Those interested should contact the company as soon as possible because the group size is limited to 18. Booking early (by December 31) also qualifies the participant 10% discount.
