Sports News: Loren Fogelman to Teach Tennis Coaches about the Mental Game

ASHLAND, Ore. - Dec. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Loren Fogelman, founder of Expert Sports Performance and author of The Winning Point, will inspire coaches to add mental game skills to their training programs at the 2014 Florida High School Tennis Coaches Association (FHSTCA) Annual Conference.  Fogelman will cover how the mental game improves competitive performance, offering their tennis players a competitive advantage.

According to Ms. Fogelman, coaches win more competitions when they know how to properly motivate their athletes. Research proves that athletes out-perform competitors when their coaches use proven mental game strategies. Fogelman’s talk, “Winning the Mental Game of Tennis,” teaches coaches how to achieve performance gains without additional time spent training.

The conference offers high school tennis coaches from around the state of Florida an intensive opportunity to improve their skills, learn new techniques on the court, and develop cutting edge team training strategies. Speakers include professional tennis players, notable tennis pros and sports psychologists who will offer insights on coaching high school tennis teams.

The three day training for tennis coaches will be held at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. The annual conference takes place from January, 9 through January 11, 2014. A complimentary pass is one of the advantages of FHSTCA membership. Non-members are welcome to join the event.
