Dec. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- NEW YORK ~ Kevin L. McCrudden is the son of Irish immigrants.  He believes in and promotes the idea of “The American Dream!”

“Any immigrant that has ever come to America, has come with a dream, with hope for a better life for them and their children.  That is the American Dream,” says McCrudden.  “National Motivation & Inspiration Day is an attempt to help people make those dreams a reality. We know that the “Top 3%” of all achievers write down personal goals annually and work diligently toward the achievement of those goals. So, why don't we all try to duplicate that success? asks McCrudden

January 2nd of every year is National Motivation & Inspiration Day© as passed by The United States Congress after the tragic events of 9-11-01 (H. Res. 308  12/18/01). McCrudden became the only motivational and leadership speaker in America to ever have such a day of recognition passed by Congress.

The creation and importance of National Motivation & Inspiration Day© is the focus on how important “motivation and inspiration” are in every human endeavor and how the establishment of realistic personal goals every year can lead individuals to greater levels of achievement and satisfaction.  McCrudden is particularly interested in helping young adults start this behavior early in life so that the live a more purpose filled life.

Statistics state that 85% of people that establish “New Years Resolutions,” forget those resolutions and no longer strive to achieve them by the end of January each year.   With this is mind, Mr. McCrudden urges people, especially young adults to create realistic annual goals to work toward in order to avoid the mentality of “same stuff different day” that so many people have, which he believes leads to a life of underachievement.  Without goals that are established and written down, one year leads into another and another without ever “achieving” any established goal.

In order to help people achieve their goals and live more fulfilled lives, McCrudden has dedicated a great deal of time over the past five years, creating an iPhone and iPad APP called Simple Goals, has written a book, “Who Are You?” where he introduces the most significant addition to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in 60 years and has produced 5 audiobook programs.

McCrudden’s newest release, “Taking Action to Make Things Happen,” is actually taken from his company motto.  “Taking Action to Make Things Happen” is a 4 CD set with his his “A New Year and a New You!” program, a CD from the late Zig Ziglar on Motivation and a .PDF ebook / workbook to follow along with the “Taking Action to Make Things Happen” audiobook.

In “Who Are You?” McCrudden contributes to Dr. Abraham Maslow’s legendary “Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs” by creating his “21st Century Multidimensional Hierarchy of Needs,” which expanded Dr. Maslow’s one-dimensional triangle into a multidimensional pyramid that can be used to measure multiple aspects of ones life.

In “Taking Action to Make Things Happen,” McCrudden expands the use of his 21st Century Multidimensional Hierarchy of Needs and addresses 9 critical elements of life and provides actions that can be taken to change your life.

In “Taking Action to Make Things Happen” McCrudden takes on 9 Critical Elements of Wellness: Physical; Spiritual; Sexual; Emotional; Financial; Intellectual; Environmental; Political and Social.  In an unusually candid format, McCrudden takes on some challenging issues and provides some very unique insights, which we have come to expect from him.

In conjunction with National Motivation & Inspiration Day© McCrudden also created The American Motivation Awards, honoring “motivational, inspirational and patriotic leaders in America.”  The awards honor people that exemplify a distinguished life of character and provide an example that will inspire and motivate others to choose to live and “inspired life.”

The American Motivation Awards have honored such luminaries as recently deceased Zig Ziglar and Dr. Stephen Covey.   Mr. McCrudden will announce this year’s recipients on January 2nd.

Finally, Mr. McCrudden has been invited by The Archbishop of The Anglican Church of South Africa to be the Key Note Speaker at their “Surpassing Your Limits and Attaining the Unattainable” Celebration in honor of the passing of Nelson Mandela, January 25th – 28th.
