Mary Ann Malack-Ragona Presents “What You Need To Know About Alzheimer’s Disease”

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 24, 2013 - (Bay Shore, NY)— Mary Ann Malack-Ragona, Executive Director/CEO, Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center, Inc. (http://www.adrcinc.org/) (ADRC), will be presenting a series of informational sessions on Alzheimer’s Disease to various Long Island communities throughout the month of January.

“What You Need To Know About Alzheimer’s Disease” will address the facts and myths about Alzheimer’s Disease, initial warning signs, research at the local and national levels, the essentials of long-term care planning, and how ADRC assists local families.

The sessions will be available at various locations on the following dates and times:

January 12, 2014 at Jewish Center of the Hamptons, 44 Woods La., East Hampton at 1:00 p.m.
January 16, 2014 at Huntington Public Library, 338 Main St., Huntington at 2:00 p.m.
January 27, 2014 at Southampton Public Library, 91 Coopers Farm Rd., Southampton at 5:30 p.m.
January 29, 2014 at Riverhead Free Library, 330 Court St., Riverhead at 6:30 p.m.

“I am glad to educate the public about the different aspects of Alzheimer’s Disease,” Ms. Malack-Ragona stated. “People need to know about the initial warning signs, how to take the proper steps for long-term care and the different resources that are available within their communities. We feel that many families are unaware of these important facts.”
