"The Aftermath" - Novel Helps Teens Navigate Their Way Through High School

PEMBROKE, Mass. - Dec. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- The Aftermath is a story of redemption that encourages teenagers to be true to their moral convictions, even when they find themselves facing peer pressure or swimming against the current. The story touches on the social issues of drug abuse, self-acceptance, and bullying.

High school freshman Jason Davids tries to overcome his destructive lifestyle of drug use. After a natural disaster strikes and lands one of his classmates in a coma, he feels responsible for the tragedy, attributing The Aftermath to his drug problem. As Jason tries to navigate through his problems, he is confronted with peer influences as well as his own struggle with faith.

A mysterious girl at school appears to hold the secret to what Jason is looking for, and he begins seeing his life from a new perspective. This young man searching for answers finally discovers that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but is he too late to follow it?
