ALTA, Utah - Dec. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Alta, Utah— Utah Mountain Adventures and Alta Lodge are offering two winter backcountry clinics in the Wasatch Mountains. The clinics will be based at Alta Lodge, located at the base of Alta Ski Resort. The clinics bring skiers and splitboarders into the backcountry to learn and practice skills during three days of touring.  After each day in the backcountry, clinic participants will return to the warmth, comfort and fine dining of Alta Lodge.

Safe travel while in the backcountry is a must, and this course teaches the fundamentals during three full days of backcountry touring.
