Celebrating their 40th year as a band in 2013, Kansas burst onto the music scene in 1974 with their self-titled album. The band has produced eight Gold albums, three sextuple-Platinum albums, one Platinum live album and million-selling gold single, Dust in the Wind. In addition, Carry On Wayward Son was the number one most played track on classic rock stations in 1997. Kansas appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 consecutive weeks throughout the ‘70’s and ‘80’s.
