Viglen launches new all-in-one PC and showcases tailored ICT solutions at BETT 2014

Experts from Viglen’s own dedicated schools department will be on hand to demonstrate the company’s end-to-end IT solutions for schools and explain how its flexible and reliable ICT solutions can help pupils engage with a school’s learning objectives and deliver cross-curricular teaching for staff. Visitors can also check out Viglen’s Vigcloud central learning platform, Classlink classroom management software and a range of mobile devices and PCs.

Head teachers from state, private, free schools and academies will share their experiences of using Viglen technology as teaching tools, and speakers from leading IT developers Microsoft, Toshiba, Meru, Hitachi, alongside NEC, Lightspeed and Qwizdom, will update visitors on products to accelerate and improve learning. Presentations will include; ‘Making modern traditions with the use of IT at Harrow’ by the school’s director of IT, Dr Christopher O’Mahoney; ‘Embedding the effective use of technology in teaching and learning at Bedford Academy’; ‘Innovative personal laptop scheme supporting 1:1 learning at Perins Academy’ and ‘Evolving Primary School Education though the innovative use of IT at The Mead Primary School’.
