Overland Park Physical Therapy Clinic Signs on to Assist in Rehab of UMKC Athletes

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Dec. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Overland Park-based Specialists in Sports and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (SSOR), an outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy facility, recently signed a contract to assist in the rehabilitation of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Roos athletes.  SSOR will assist the athletic training staff two days per week to help rehabilitate UMKC athletes as well as to help provide continuing education to the athletic training staff.

SSOR is recognized by the sports medicine community in the Kansas City metro as the destination of choice for the rehabilitation of athletes.  Dan Lorenz, owner of SSOR and a licensed physical therapist and licensed athletic trainer, is an experienced sports physical therapist.  Dr. Lorenz is Kansas City's only fellowship-trained physical therapist in sports physical therapy.  Formerly, he was a physical therapist and assistant athletic trainer for the Kansas City Chiefs.  Additionally, he is a noted speaker and educator on sports medicine.
