HUMBOLDT, Ariz. - Dec. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Pathfinder Ranch provides non-riding equine assisted activities that promote attention to social cues, body language and personal space.  By working with horses, participants learn how to create a personal bully free zone.

The Bully Free Zone at Pathfinder Ranch is a small, peaceful ranch with two rescued horses, Bandit and Trinity.

The classes are for 1 ½ hours. We can accommodate up to 20 participants at a time.    An example of an equine assisted activity is asking a participant to enter a closed stall and introducing him/herself to the horse. Typically, the horse will approach and crowd the person, which is a gross sign of disrespect by the horse. If a horse were to approach and crowd another horse, it would be warned quickly to move away, by an abrupt change in body language. The horse might pin both ears backward, possibly lunge forward, and threaten to bite or kick the approaching horse. The safest way to introduce yourself to a horse is to invite him/her into your space.

For maximum benefit a 4-6 week period of weekly classes is recommended.
