Follow on Google News | Financial Planning Association of MA names Therese Nicklas to Pro Bono Military ProgramBy: Financial Planning Association of MA Members of the FPA of MA Pro Bono Military Program volunteer their time to offer free financial planning advice to active and veteran members of the military. Since January of 2012, the pro bono volunteers in the FPA of MA Pro Bono Military Program has supported 32 financial readiness events, completed 1390 volunteer hours and held 108 1-1 counseling sessions with members of the military, veterans and their families. Nicklas, a member of the FPA MA since 2007, is a Wealth Manager at US Wealth Management in Braintree. Her experience in financial services spans 37 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Nazarene College and holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. In addition to being an active member of the FPA MA, Nicklas is the Immediate Past President of the Braintree Rotary Club, a member of the Cedar Hills Chapter of BNI, and belongs to the Quincy Chamber of Commerce, the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Association of New England and the National Association of Professional Women. Nicklas makes her home in Quincy with her husband.
