NFL Player for the Indianapolis Colts Host Toy Drive at Children's Hospital With The Mac Foundation

WASHINGTON - Dec. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- The Mac Foundation and P.I.T.S Sports have teamed up with NFL linebacker  for the Indianapolis Colts, Lawrence Sidbury, to host their 8^th Annual Toy Drive this holiday season. They will be delivering toys on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2013 at 12:00 noon to the children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's National Medical Center, 111 Michigan Ave. NW, Washington, DC.

"Although my son Malik has lost his battle to SMA, it's still very important for me to put as many smiles as I can on other children's faces," stated Lisa Couser, founder of The Mac Foundation. "It's no fun being in the hospital on Christmas, and we're hoping that these toys will brighten their day."

Sidbury, along with the founders of The Mac Foundation and P.I.T.S Sports will be armed with dozens of gifts from sponsors and members of the community that have donated to this great cause. In addition to signing autographs, Sidbury will also take pictures with the patients and their families.

Sports to get them re- acclimated into sports, without them being a direct participant.  Through our programs, we educate and prepare them to be successful in supplementary aspects of sports, such as training, coaching, team management, community involvement, and athletic administration at various levels.
