Former Owner of Poplar Wine Bar Begins Second Act As Personality/Vintner

CHICAGO - Dec. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Chicago Radio Personality and Blogger Chrishon Lampley is the former owner of the popular South Loop Wine Bar Three Peas Art Lounge.  The bar, which featured a hub of social activities in the neighborhood,  closed in 2012, and after a brief break Lampley re-tooled her vision and created another venue of social engagement. In April, Lampley created the podcast Love Cork Screw on Sound Cloud and Intellectual Radio and it currently reaches 8,000 listeners and growing. The show features current and hip content about various aspects of the social scene, including but not limited to, her adventures in dating, life, and wine. This transition from bar owner to media personality has given Lampley inspiration to enter into the world of wine as the co creator along with fellow entrepreneurs Tiffany Taylor and Glenn Murray of a new brand, bearing the same name of her podcast - Love Cork Screw. Love Cork Screw features a dynamic collection of wine varietals that will be unveiled this week at an invitation only soft launch. The company will then host a series of events culminating with the official public launch event on February 13, 2014.  An excited Lampley says of her new venture, "This is just another step as I emerge and grow, its no secret that I love wine and this gives me the opportunity to really be hands on growing the brand and sharing the fun and happiness I feel while doing my show with the rest of the world, there is so much more to come.” Love Cork Screw will feature six varietals, with names that showcase the whimsical styling of the brand - "Head over Heels", "Touch The Sky" and "Were Movin On Up" are just a few of them. Lampley notes the people should expect more varietals as the brand continues to expand in various markets for years to come.
