Alyssa notes, “we all have a natural desire to be our best selves.  Every day we wake up wanting to be even better than we were the day before, we are in a constant competition with our past selves, and this is good!”

She continues “We want to indulge in all aspects of life from the guilty pleasures, fashion, entertainment, food, to striving to maintain our health and overall physical appearance.   Allure and Cure strives to make life what it should be.  Fun and Fulfilling.  We desire to feed our human desires, even those that are often superficial, while remembering the importance of living a full balanced healthy life, and keeping in mind that it is important to help others!

About Alyssa Schiano:A recent graduate from the University of Rhode Island, and an Alpha Chi Omega sorority sister, Alyssa earned her BA in journalism. Alyssa Schiano has experience in fact checking, editing, writing, researching, and interviewing. Interested in magazine and feature writing. Alyssa has been enthusiastic about writing and creating her entire life. With experience in radio and magazine, among others, she has grown and developed her talents and focus. Alyssa has most recently worked as an editorial intern for Providence Media. She was able to complete many interesting blurbs and articles for magazines such as Providence Monthly, SO Rhode Island and The Bay. Among her work here she most enjoyed and is particularly proud of the “Gift Guide,” she completed for the cover of December 2012 issue of The Bay. She also has years of experience using many social media platforms, which help to grow and promote her brand.
