A celebration of the Christ'showing now through December 28. The gallery, at 335 West McDowell Road in Phoenix is open this Friday 6-9pm and by appointment by calling 602-320-8445. www.rpelagallery.com Modified Arts Gallery at 407 E Roosevelt St invited Albinger to show in 'A Little Religion in Your Shopping' where she created a yin/yang pair of paintings including one of a pig doning a bib that says'Feed Me'in response to the mad consumerism rush that is now Thanksgiving. The show is up through January 10th, with opening night this Friday, December 20 from 6-9pm. The gallery is at 407 E Roosevelt St, Phoenix and is open by appointment by calling (602) 462-5516. http://www.modifiedarts.org Across the street at monOrchid Gallery in the show appropriately titled 'Holy Daze', Albinger's painting 'Hitch'n a Ride'creates flurry between rabbits and Jesus as to the real meaning behind Easter. monOrchid is at 214 E. Roosevelt and is open Friday from 6-9 and by appointment at 602-253-0339. www.monorchid.com Although not open for the Third Friday Collectors Night, Albinger is also showing in 'Revealed: Masks and Totems' around the corner from monOrchid at Phoenix Center for the Arts through December. Her pieces of humans wearing animal masks is a common theme in her work and she has Neil Diamond to thank for the title of her painting 'Set the World Right' currently on view.
