About a year ago, I attended a workshop taught by Matt concerning Eucalyptus trees, thier origin, history, and most importantly, how to identify them. I came away from the seminar with a tremendous amount of useful, practical information, not to mention printed materials and identification keys that I was able to immediately incorporate into my consulting practice. So, when I recently learned he would be presenting a botanical skills workshop in San Diego, I immediately signed up to attend.
The botanical skills workshop was presented yesterday at Palomar College in San Marcos, and once again Matt presented useful, relevant and practical information everyone in attendance enjoyed and benefitted from. The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including botanical nonmenclature, taxonomy, plant morphology, identification and much, much more.
If you are a certified arborist, registered consulting arborist, tree care worker, landscape contractor, landscape architect, horticulturist, agency, park, or recreation professional, you owe it to yourself to attend one of Matt's seminar or workshops, you wont be disappointed.
