Law Firm to Accept Bitcoin as Payment

BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Dec. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- The Law Office of Garrett Ham, PLC, an Arkansas-based law firm, will begin accepting Bitcoin as payment for its services effective immediately.



The Firm focuses on serving entrepreneurs and small business owners.  Recognizing the dynamic nature of the entrepreneurial community and its characteristic willingness to adopt novel and nontraditional business practices, the Firm decided to begin accepting Bitcoin as an added convenience to clients who may keep, utilize, or even accept Bitcoin themselves.



The Firm's services will continue to be priced in US Dollars and the amount of payment due in Bitcoin form will be determined by the exchange rate at the time of the transaction.  Client trust accounts, for example, will continue to be maintained in US Dollars, and the Firm will never actually receive Bitcoin itself.  Rather, the client's Bitcoin payment will be converted into US Dollars by BitPay, the Firm's Bitcoin processor.
