Philadelphia MMA Gym Sponsors Virtual Food Drive

PHILADELPHIA - Dec. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Brazen Boxing and MMA announced today that they will sponsor a virtual food drive in conjunction with the local charity, Philabundance, to help local families that struggle with hunger.

Philabundance is an online organization that raises money for the needy in the Delaware Valley region.

With an estimated 900,000 families, seniors, and children going hungry, Philabundance is making a huge impact through their virtual fundraising program.

Donations purchase specific meals, such as Broccoli, chicken and pasta or Cereal, toast and juice.

Jessica Richman, CEO of Brazen, was elated to participate in the drive.

"Helping people in need is a part of our fundamental duty as humans. I'm honored that our Brazen family can participate in such a great cause."

Brazen's fundraising goal is 2,000.

It's great to see organizations like Philabundance and Brazen filling the needs of people in their communities. Sometimes we get so caught up in our lives, it's hard to see the real-world issues that deserve more attention.

Philabundance has been helping the community since 1986 and they're expecting a great turnout for the holiday season and into the New Year.
