ATLANTA - Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- In an effort to bring high-quality animation training to the Atlanta area, Emmy Award winner, Stevie Vallance is returning on February 1-2, 2014 to provide a two-day intensive workshop.

The workshop is being hosted by VoiceoverCity, LLC,; Atlanta's largest voiceover resource provider.  VoiceoverCity also hosted her visit during a trip to the region in November of 2013 when over 40 people gathered in one of VoiceoverCity's meeting rooms to hear her teach for two full hours.

Those in attendance were amazed at her talent and ability to bring the copy to life while working directly with those in the room.

She was joined by Atlanta's favorite VO Agent, Jeffrey Umberger (http://umbergeragency.com) as they spoke for 30 minutes about the animation market for voiceover talent.

Stevie received a 2002 EMMY AWARD for casting and voice-directing the dialogue and vocals on 70 episodes of MADELINE, on which she also portrayed the voices of 'Miss Clavel', the nun, and 'Genevive', the dog. Stevie owes her voice-directing ‘initiation’ to Marsha Goodman who asked Stevie to relocate to Vancouver, BC in order to voice-direct for the very first time. For the next ten years Stevie helped cast three sets of ’12 little girls in two straight lines’ and in 2002, Stevie was mailed an Emmy statuette for her part as ‘Voice Director’ on the beloved Disney classic. "Your contributions as a voice talent and singer would be more than sufficient to earn praise, but your gifts as a voice director and music coach are exceptional... The critical success of our show is due in no small part to your considerable efforts." ~ Stan Phillips, Executive Producer, Madeline, DIC Enterprises.

Between 2003 and 2006 Vallance went on to cast and voice-direct Teletoon’s Silverwing and Totally Spies. In 2007, Bill Schultz (Simpsons) asked Stevie to coordinate her first co-production between U.S. and Canada, and so she cast, voice-directed and voice-directed Growing Up Creepie, out of Toronto. The Discovery Kids series was nominated for an Emmy after only one season. In 2008, Stevie served as Voice Director on 52 episodes of Best Ed, for 9Story.

In LA, in 2009, she cast and voice-directed the animated feature film Young Dr. Dolittle, starring Tom Kenney (voice of Sponge Bob Square Pants). Then Stevie flew back to Toronto to cast and voice-direct Nelvana’s Celebutard Nation, which premiered on Teletoon's Detour series.

For the past few years Stevie has been based in LA, heading up voice-direction for executive producer Bill Schultz (Home Plate Ent) on Guess How Much I Love You (Disney Jr.), and season 1 & 2 of Wild Grinders (Nicktoons), starring Rob Dyrdek (Fantasy Factory, Ridiculousness).

Anyone attending the February session is sure to receive 100% of her energy and excitement as she works to get them into shape for a career in voiceover animation.
