Area 51 Aliens Get Helpful, Hip-Hop and Hi-Tech To Spread Awareness Of iPad App's Benefits To Kids

PHILADELPHIA - Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Today, alotta.edu, inc. reveals the most AMAZING "alien helps human encounter" since ET met Drew Barrymore. In an effort to spread awareness of their app "Tie Your Shoes", alotta.edu released this encounter on the web so that children everywhere can learn to tie their shoes more easily.

Caught on camera in this amazing footage Mary, an adorable 7-year old girl, is saved from crisis and an emotional meltdown by a band of heroic, hip-hop aliens that respond to her anguished, intergalactic plea for help.  Using a specially modified iPad equipped with the latest "tie your shoes" app, the hero alien, EZ, helps Mary master this important life skill.

Farfetched?  You betcha - but Carter, a Wharton MBA from the University of Pennsylvania developed the video after watching his company`s app languish in the Apple app store for 18 months.

"I always wanted to be one in a million", he says, "until it meant one in a million at the app store, buried in obscurity in the bottom 99%. Then that distinction became a problem."

"Our previous marketing efforts failed largely because app reviewers look for apps with the latest, most complicated iOS technical approaches. We had built a better mousetrap but that wasn`t enough to excite app reviewers," says Carter.

Out of frustration Carter decided to do something unconventional. This began his quest to find people who understood his concept and could capture it on video. Carter tapped Ryan Sellers, a 2013 Art Institute graduate to direct. "Ryan had great ideas from the start" says Carter. "We combined our visions to bring this video to life."

"I wanted more parents and educators to see the app", says Carter "because it worked so well for children struggling with this very fundamental problem."

"Our app is truly a better mousetrap", he continues.  "It has custom buttons – unlike any other app, book or instructional aid - which delivers unprecedented control of the step-by-step process.  This creates a learning environment that is tailored to each child and it gives each child the ability to focus on those steps that need the most attention. No other teaching tool provides this exacting control at every step", says Carter.

"YouTube presented the perfect promotional medium and we did something "out of this world" for parents and teachers.  I hope my alien attack goes viral and helps parents and teachers find an easier solution to this important life lesson", says Carter.
