Boston, MA — Debby Krim Photography & Fine Art is proud to announce that its owner, Debby Krim has been awarded the “Best Representational Award” for its oil painting “In the Bag” at the 2013 Members’ Exhibition sponsored by the Attleboro Arts Museum.
This Exhibition featured more than one hundred member artists of the Attleboro Arts Museum, whose original work was judged by a guest juror and awarded prizes.
In reaction to winning such award, Debby Krim stated: “It is gratifying and rewarding to have my work chosen by esteemed juror, Kathleen Hancock, Gallery Director at the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Art Gallery as the Best Representational work at this year's Attleboro Arts Museum's member's show.”
About Debby Krim
Debby has been an artist since the 1970's. A Rhode Island native, she headed to Boston in 1976 to study at Boston University's School of Fine Arts. Boston has remained her home ever since. She is active member of the art community, and has her studio in the SoWa Arts District.
Debby develops her vision through a variety of media, including photography and oil painting. Her photographs and paintings go beyond simple visual representation. Her South End studio is now the incubator for her artistic explorations. She recently completed work on a television show called, "Naked Art: Inside the Artist's Studio" which was awarded BNN's "Spotlight Award. Her oil paintings were part of the Contemporary Still Life Show at the Copley Society where she is a "Copley Artist".
Her award winning photography has been featured in several Galleries and Museums, Hollywood films and Television shows. Her photo, "White Chambers" was in Sandra Bullock's "The Proposal".
