Acella Construction selected as Construction Manager for Village Pediatrics medical building

NORWELL, Mass. - Dec. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Acella Construction Corporation (www.acellaconstruction.com), a construction management firm serving the region for more than a decade, has been named Construction Manager for the new Village Pediatrics Medical Building to be located at 156 Pearl Street, Brockton.

The new construction is underway. The building has been rough framed and, according to Acella Senior Project Manager Ryan Klebes, the project should be completed mid-February 2014. The new, state-of-the-art facility will have 10 examination rooms and a suite of offices. Acella has worked under the design-build mode, working with partner JACA Architects of Quincy. Acella is also working with civil engineer John Holmgren.

Presently, Village Pediatrics operates at 1 Pearl Street, Brockton. Village Pediatrics was founded by Dr. David M. Howell in 1998 after he served three years as a military pediatrician. Dr. Howell, a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine, completed his residency at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, CO, and completed two years fellowship training in Child Behavior and Development at Boston University. Village Pediatrics serves the healthcare needs of children from birth through 19 years of age.

The 10,000 square foot building is a $2 million project.
