£800 Raffle at Pensnett Christmas Fair

BRIERLEY HILL, U.K. - Dec. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- The Corbyns Bromley Tenants and Residents Association are welcoming visitors to join the fun at a Christmas Fair in Pensnett this Saturday (December 21st) from 1pm to 5pm.

There will be a decorated Santa’s Grotto where children can visit Santa Claus throughout the afternoon to receive a wrapped gift, letter from Santa, a drink and a Christmas cupcake for just £1.50 per child.

Visitors will be able to browse a range of indoor stalls and games, while enjoying Christmas music and a little something from the bake sale. The fair will include the usual activities including a grand raffle with over £800 worth of prizes, bottle tombola, bric-a-brac, lucky dip, refreshments,  face-painting and more.

Admission and parking are free although car park spaces are limited. The Christmas Fair can be accessed via the Tiled House Lane entrance of Pensnett Bromley Senior Citizen Centre, DY5 4LE.

Association Chairman Cath Lloyd said: “The fair will be a special way for the whole community to celebrate Christmas together and, with lots of games and stalls, there’s sure to be something for all the family to enjoy. It is the association’s first organised event; we are looking forward to meeting our neighbours and finding out more about local issues and areas of concern.”

Launched in October this year, Corbyns Bromley Tenants and Residents Association is a community managed group whose aim is to improve our area of Pensnett.
