Instructor-led online computer courses designed specifically for ages 50 - 70

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Dec. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Beginning in January 2014, Baby Boomers can learn the basics about their computer via courses led by instructor Dawn Brown, MCSE, A+, who is a member of the Baby Boomer generation herself. Each class is limited to twelve participants and lasts two hours and forty-five minutes. Topics will include terminology, using the Internet safely, computer components and many 'how-to' instructions for everyday tasks like copying, creating files, doing backups, etc.

Instead of DIY online courses, these webinars are led by an instructor with fifteen years in the IT industry, so that questions can be answered before someone gets too far behind in the instructions. And unlike courses taught at the local library or civic center, the student will be at home and using their own computer. Basic Training for Baby Boomers explains the technology that younger generations grew up with.

Courses begin in January 2014 and there is also an option to receive half-hour one-on-one sessions where the instructor will login to the recipient's computer remotely and answer any questions they may have about their computer (broadband internet access is required).
