Dec. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Just as a bright sky can always be trusted to provide a sense of refreshing energy, a well done interior ceiling painting job can do just the same to an individual’s mood. Manufacturing painting companies are very well aware that choosing the right color palette for a job has to do with a lot more than just aesthetics. The right color can help increase productivity by livening up warehouse workers, especially when applied to a surface like a ceiling, which covers the entire space. Using the the proper colors and products goes a long way. Contractors know how to utilize colors, products and surfaces to their full potential, and know tricks like how to how to get better light reflectance in a dark warehouse. Whether the job is painting structural steel, open web joists, or steel supports, a clean coat of paint looks neat and professional. A fresh coat can liven employee spirits, and a new color scheme can even serve to reinvent a company’s image.
Beyond providing a refreshing atmosphere with a new paint job, warehouse painters in New Jersey know more than just how to brighten up a warehouse ceiling by spray painting. There is much more to commercial coating than looks. Epoxy floor painting and dryfall paint for ceilings, for example, are very useful applications that provide more than a welcoming atmosphere. Durable epoxy floor coatings provide protection against the continuous movement of people and products that occurs within warehouse walls. Dryfall paint will ensure that when a warehouse ceiling is being painted, no point will drip down and soak the equipment stored in the warehouse. Dryfall paint will actually dry before it hits the ground, allowing it to be cleaned up easily by sweeping, rather than having to meticulously chip it off items.
Interior ceiling deck spray painting companies know that warehouses are the heartbeat of a company. Having to shutdown the warehouse means products do not get shipped out, which means profits do not come in. For this reason, corrugated ceiling deck painting contractors plan their jobs diligently to make sure little to no production is lost. An approach by Alpine Painting, an industrial painting contractor located in New Jersey, goes as follows:
All movable material, supplies and equipment will be removed from work area, by owner, to allow our men to work safely and access all areas to be painted.  Alpine will use plastic and tarps to drape & cover the existing equipment and floor surfaces.  Yellow electrical reels, radiant heat, interior lighting and fall protection monorail be wrapped in plastic to protect against spray.  Covering sprinkler heads is important, and they will be covered with tin foil to protect from paint, but this will also allow heads to function in case of an emergency.  After the surrounding work surfaces are covered my men will commence with the preparation phase of the project.  We will provide two/three scissor and/or articulating boom lifts to safely and efficiently access all the areas to be painted.  Adequate surface preparation is essential to obtain both a chemical/mechanical bond and provide proper paint adhesion.  Our team will utilize compressed air to clean the dust/debris from surfaces to be coated.  After the surfaces are cleaned we will prepare the metal surfaces by hand and power tool cleaning using disk grinders, scrapers and wire brushes to remove loose rust and peeling paint.  Once the ceiling surfaces are prepared and cleaned properly Alpine will apply one full coat of Sherwin Williams Opti-Bond Multi-Surface Coating to Ceiling Steel Surfaces.  Opti-Bond is a high performance, rust inhibitive coating specialty designed for painting overhead decking, beams, piping, joists and rusted steel.  Note, that we do not recommend a dry fall coating because of the pre-existing rust on your steel open web joists.  We weighed out the option of first priming the open web joist, with a rust inhibitive metal primer, and then coating the entire ceiling with dry fall, but this option will cost more in labor then to just use one full coat of the Specialized Rust Inhibitive Ceiling coating for the entire project.  Plus, Sherwin Williams Opti-Bond Coating will last longer than a dry fall coating.
