Art Basel, Miami , “Hollywood Hype” recycled Eco-Art Installation by Frankie Ollervides

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Fascinated with the self-obsession and fakeness  of world famous Hollywood Ollervides  latest collection "Hollywood  Hype "  tears apart the mythological narcissim which holds Tiinsel Town together serving as a daily  marketing platform for established fashion brands and icons.  Showcasing at the Absolute Rebellion Fashion Show, Miami.  Complete with full Red Carpet, Environmental Mural Artist, Sculptor, Photographer Frankie Ollervides  presented his recycled collections  at Villa 221 during Art Basel, Miami last week. Making use of  recycled plastic media walls  Ollervides showed his private take on Hollywood’s Media Circus during a fashion show with designers worn by recording artist, PitBull.  Despite the heavy rain, Ollervides was able to showcase his totally waterproof, recycled plastic media wall artwork  to the many guests who turned out.

During his time working as a Red Carpet Press & Fashion Photographer in Hollywood, Ollervides first became fascinated with the Red Carpet media infatuation of Hollywood  Red Carpet Starlets and added in to his scope of work ,comedy, pantomime  and flair, alongside recycled materials taken from the left over trashed Hollywood  Media Walls thrown out by the truckload daily. Seizing these free huge canvasses, and using his celebrity and red carpet photography as a backdrop, Ollervides has combined a unique use of graphics and artwork in  a Street Style Art Kaleidescope reminiscent of primitive Banksey with Dahli-esque Publicity Stunts aimed to create a Media Circus Carnival designed to mock the Hollywood Hype Machinery .The Recycled Full Collection “Hollywood Hype” by Unseen Contemporaryt will be showing back in Los Angeles from December 15^th – January 30^th, at Unseen Contemporary Gallery by appointment only.
