What began as a normal day would soon end in tragedy—a fatal accident that would eventually take the life of Jean’s husband, Bill, and send Jean into an out-of-control tailspin.
But her journey was only beginning…
Her life was now filled with shattered dreams—a memory of what once was—a life taken away too soon.
Stricken by overwhelming heartache, and drawn to the anesthetizing effects of drugs and alcohol, Jean would eventually reach rock bottom. It was there, in her darkest hour, where she would find treatment for a number of grief-related ailments—anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and severe depression among them.
Since that sorrowful day, emotions, depressive thoughts, and challenges of every sort continue to arise, but somehow, Jean presses on, seeking significance and validation in a new life—
a life worth living…
“In her illuminating account, author Jean Kaiserling reveals a rare and treasured gift for conveying the deep emotional and spiritual truths necessary for healing,” said Kathie McGuire, director of Brighton Publishing LLC. “Built upon the solid ramparts of an enduring love, I Know You Love Me: To My Husband, Bill, strikes a well-balanced chord with both body and soul.”
Author Jean Kaiserling experiences long, cold winters at her home in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Her artistic talents would originally drive her to excel in college where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. Oil painting would become her initial pursuit, but over time, inspiration would lead her down a different path—one that utilized her unique gifts and skill set—writing. Ms. Kaiserling shares her love for life with her devoted friend and constant companion—a huggable, 12-year-old Black Lab. I Know You Love Me: To My Husband, Bill is her first published book.
